Richland College  Fall 2011 Credit - Fast Track 4

The Fast Track option is a new method for completing the courses required for the Associate in Arts or Associate in Sciences degree within a one-year time frame. Courses are offered in four, four-week terms during the full-length semester. New courses begin each month, which allows maximum flexibility in completing associate degree requirements.

Fast Track and flexible-term courses are no different in content from regular semester-length courses. Classes are more intensive, and students attend class more hours each week to learn what is needed to complete the course. Classes taken in any format (Fast Track, Telecourse, full-length semester, etc.) may be applied toward the completion of any degree.

Fast Track courses transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Be sure to verify course transferability for specific four-year college and university degree programs.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PASS THE COURSE IF YOU DO NOT PURCHASE MYMATHLAB AND COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENTS, BEGINNING THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS; the MyMathLab work makes up at least 30% of the final grade. Calculators may not be permitted on some or all tests. MATH 1414 is intended to serve as a prerequisite course for those needing further courses in Math, including MATH 1316, 1325, and 1350. Alternate core courses that should be considered by those needing only a single Math course are MATH 1332 and MATH 2342. Class begins 11/21. Class will not meet on 11/24.
