 Sections 6300 - 6308 are taught in a non-traditional format. All students MUST attend an orientation between Monday, January 19th through Friday, January 22nd in the non-majors science lab, Room H32. Orientation sessions will be available Monday through Thursday at 9:05 a.m., 10:10 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:20 p.m., 1:25 p.m., 5:35 p.m., 6:35 p.m., and 7:35 p.m. Friday orientation sessions will be available at 9:05 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. The lab is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and on Friday 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. IMPORTANT: set aside approximately 3 hours per week for lab.

 Service Learning combines community service and one hour of academic credit that can be transferred. Service Learning can be used to explore a chosen career field, or to explore a new area of interest all while providing service to your community. This flex entry course begins Feb. 22. The student selects an approved agency, attends orientation, volunteers for 20 hours, attends one on-campus meeting and submits written reports. Hospitals require 40 hours. Students must contact Dr. Anne Grissom in W259 by Feb. 22.
