Summer Session I - this session includes all classes which start between 6/4 and 7/3. The majority of the classes start on 6/4 and end on 7/3, lasting 5 weeks, but it can vary. You will not be able to enroll in more than 2 classes during this session due to the short period of time. If you need to enroll in additional classes you will need to work with an advisor.

 In this 11-day intensive workshop you will have the opportunity to work with Lauren McAdams Selden, jewelry and metalsmithing professor from Stephen F. Austin and Natalie Macellaio from Brookhaven College. Professor Selden will show us how to work large scale and small scale through welding with the MIG and lost-wax investment casting. We will discuss how work transforms with scale and what the relationship is between working with ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Students who have at the ABE Level 4 on the ABE MATH portion of the TSI and have a diagnostic score of ABE.DM1 of 7-15 AND ABE.DM2 SCORE of 7-15 are required to take BASM 0053 along with and on campus section of DMAT 0305 with the same section number. Students need an email account and regular access to the Internet. The course software is supported by both PCs & MACs.
