 BIOL 1406 provides the basis for all higher- level biology courses and is intended for science majors or students planning to transfer to a discipline within a College of Arts & Sciences. North Lake College's biology department does not require students to be TSI-met in math to register for BIOL 1406. If you are not TSI-met in math and need assistance in registering for BIO 1406 see an NLC advisor. This class offers lectures completely online and hands-on laboratory exercises to be completed from home with a kit. Lecture exams will be proctored at any DCCCD Testing Center. Two laboratory Practicals will be held at the Central campus of North Lake College, on October 11 and December 7, 2014. Instructor will work with students if these dates are not suitable.
