Honors
 
 Delivery: We are looking at a community based course, focusing on a'vanished' African American community, Little Egypt, that existed in the NE Dallas area, before it disappeared, in the 1960s. The idea, at this stage in our discussion, centers around doing archival research, cartography, and potentially some oral histories and/or genealogical research with descendants of those who lived there and moved away. Note: This section is an Honors course, open only to students who have been admitted to the Honors Academy. Apply at http://www.richlandcollege.edu/honors/apply.php. This is part of a two-course Honors Learning Community that meets TR from 11:00-1:50. Students will receive six credits.
