 Course focuses on 2-D animation and Adobe Flash. There will be an online orientation given for this class. COURSE REQUIRES access to the Internet using a current browser (not AOL), email, textbook and a version of Adobe Flash CS5, 6 or CC for either Mac OSX or PC Windows. The faculty will be using Adobe Creative Cloud to create course materials and tutorials. This interface looks very different from Adobe CS5. Please be aware of this prior to signing up for the class. If you choose to take this class the college supports students using CS5, 6 and CC but with the understanding that the college uses CC in classrooms and to produce materials.  SOFTWARE: Blackmagic Fusion, Autodesk Maya, Devinci Ressolve, Final Cut Pro X PREREQUISITE: ARTV-1345 AND Permission of instructor. Development of a professional portfolio to showcase the student's skills in animation and visual effects. Industry standard Blackmagic Fusion will be used for compositing CG and elements with live action footage for visual effects projects. Additional lab hours required; time options explained in 1st class. No class on 9/7.
