 The Reading Guitar Ensemble provides an excellent environment for guitar minors, beginning guitar majors and elective students to improve sight-reading skills and refine steel string guitar techniques in duos and small ensembles. Prerequisites: Must have passed Guitar I (MUSI 1192) with a "B" average or higher or have one year of reading notation.  ELECTRIC GUITAR ENSEMBLE: This guitar ensemble will focus on playing music in a group setting with an emphasis on reading and performing standard notation. Traditional, folk, blues, jazz and rock styles will be explored. MUSI 1192 or MUEN 1134, Reading Guitar Ensemble, or similar practical reading experience is highly recommended.
