 BIOL 1406 provides the basis for all higher- level biology courses and is intended for science majors or students planning to transfer to a discipline within a College of Arts & Sciences. This class offers lectures completely online and hands-on laboratory exercises to be completed from home with a kit. Lecture exams will be proctored at any DCCCD Testing Center. Two laboratory Practicals will be held at the Central campus of North Lake College, on October 11 and December 7, 2014. Instructor will work with students if these dates are not suitable.
