 ACNT 2343 Accounting Theory is an upper division accounting course as defined by the TSBPA. A student may not receive credit for ACNT 2343 and a course of a similar title such as Contemporary Accounting Issues or Advanced Theory and Problems in Accounting. ACNT 2343 has an integrated one-hour accounting research component within the course. Students are required to meet a minimum of two-semester credit hours of accounting research within the 30 required semester credit hours in accounting to satisfy the accounting hours requirement.
