 ACNT 1373 Financial Accounting Reporting Standards I is an upper division accounting course as defined by the TSBPA. A student may not receive credit for ACNT 1373 and a course of a similar title such as Intermediate Accounting I. New students must schedule and appointment with your advisor via Julius Wilson by sending him an email to wilsonj@dcccd.edu. Continuing students who are currently enrolled must request approval from your advisor - students with last names starting with the letter 'A' to 'M' must send an email to Professor Michael Joseph Tydlaska at mjtydlaska@dcccd.edu and students with last names starting with the letter 'N' to 'Z' must send an email to Professor Cencelia Pierre at cpierre@dcccd.edu. The email must include your full legal name, DCCCD student identification number, a valid telephone number and the course(s) you desire. Students are permitted a maximum of six semester hours of upper division accounting courses per semester excluding business related courses. Prerequisites: Admission to the CPA Starter Program and ACNT 1372.

 ACNT 2374 Fund Accounting Measurement and Reporting is an upper division accounting course as defined by the TSBPA. A student may not receive credit for ACNT 2374 and a course of a similar title such as Governmental Accounting. ACNT 2374 has an integrated one-hour accounting research component within the course. Students are required to meet a minimum of two-semester credit hours of accounting research within the 30 required semester credit hours in accounting to satisfy the accounting hours requirement.
