| This is a self-paced online option for students who completed
ESOL 0044 Reading but have not passed the Exit exam or have not
passed the TSI Reading Assessment Test. Students who enroll
will practice online assignments (Townsend Press Online) related
to vocabulary development. Students will receive automatic
scoring on those assignments. Students will then be given an
opportunity to take the ESOL Reading Exit exam in May. If they
pass the exam and complete all other course requirements, they
will receive an A, B or C and be considered as "Ready" for
College-Level Reading. Students are required to have a computer
with online access but may also use MVC computer labs to do
their work. |
