 This is an 11-day intensive workshop format class focusing on monoprint and monotype processes, including relief and screenprint methods as a primary means of expression. Book structures may be employed in the work, and large-scale and site-specific and site referential installation using the Forum Gallery and Studio Gallery spaces will be an integral aspect. Nicole Pietrantoni, professor of art at Whitman College and president of Southern Graphics Council International, will be the visiting artist and will co-teach the class with David Newman.
